Christmas Gift Shopping Doesnt Have to be a Nighmare if you Plan Ahead
This might be a really unpopular post because I’m bringing it up so early, but the reality is that Xmas is not all that far away. Before you know it there will only be a few weeks left and the panic would have started. People will suddenly start to break out in a cold sweat and think about what they should be buying everyone.
Last year I had plenty of time to do my Christmas shopping and it was lovely. There wasn’t that last minute rush to the shops and I could take a leisurely walk around the town with no hassle and no crowds of people. Unfortunately this year I am working full time, so I need to be totally organised.
One of the worst parts of Christmas is finding out from the family what they actually want for a present. I really do not mind spending money if I know what to buy, it does annoy me though when you trudge round the shops, wondering what they would like and coming home with nothing.
I have decided this year I would like to try and help the environment and have decided to take a look at Eco Christmas gifts. I love to be able to help others and the planet whilst doing some shopping, and isn’t Christmas the best time to do this?
Looking around for gift ideas is a time consuming process with all the choice available, but while I’ve been at it I think I’ve also found some lovely table ware - now I can be sure that my dinner table is going to look fantastic come Christmas time.
As per usual my husband never knows what to buy me, so I have dropped a few hints about vases. That way he really will not have a valid reason why he cannot get me some flowers throughout the year. It doesn’t hurt to give them a little nudge in the right direction occasionally.
Well I digress, I must return to my shopping lists and see what Great Aunt Gladys wants this year - it will no doubt be the same as every other year - pink fluffy slippers!
